About Katie Linder
Dr. Katie Linder has been coaching since 2009 and has held an International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential since 2018. She currently holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. Katie specializes in coaching faculty, higher education professionals, and leaders as they navigate career and life transitions, develop greater clarity and self-trust, nurture creativity, and make meaningful progress toward personal and professional goals. She is also the co-editor of Transformative Coaching for Faculty and Staff in Higher Education (Routledge, 2026).
In addition to her coaching credential, Katie is a certified project manager and change manager and has extensive training in yoga, meditation, somatic approaches, and other mind-body practices. She integrates these perspectives into her coaching to help clients connect thoughtful strategy and meaningful action with greater self-awareness, embodiment, and sustainable change.
Katie launched Higher Ed Coach Training in January 2020 to prepare higher education professionals to integrate evidence-informed coaching skills into their work and to support those pursuing professional coach credentials. Since then, she has continued to expand the program with advanced training and continuing education opportunities for coaches working in and beyond higher education.
